ETQG History
Established in 2009 to continue giving a voice to the people of the 16 East TN Counties (Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union), ETQG is the outcome of the citizen-driven visioning effort that occurred during the Nine Counties One Vision (9C1V)* process in the early 2000’s, ETQG was formed to convey interests relating to regional quality growth.
Through involvement in the Plan East Tennessee (PlanET)** project, ETQG’s Board sought to assist with the transition of the PlanET work and align ETQG’s work plan with its legacy needs.
ETQG Mission
