East Tennessee Quality Growth helps area governments, businesses, non-governmental organizations and individual stakeholders achieve consensus on quality growth goals and develop plans and programs to achieve those goals. Our resources help planning commissioners and support staffs, regional transportation groups, government officials, business people, community leaders and other stakeholders evaluate choices and implement the best decisions on growth for our area.

Quality Growth Toolbox

The Toolbox is an extensive information resource on factors impacting various aspects of quality growth to assist in formulation and implementation of policies and plans for growth standards. Facilitated group discussions, moderator-led educational sessions and electronic and printed learning materials may all be part of the toolkit.

Report on the Region

ETQG conducts analysis of East Tennessee growth patterns and potential, including probable future outcomes of various possible planning and sustainability policies.

Networking and Partnership Development

ETQG builds and promotes interactions and linkages and forges partnerships on common issues among decision makers/professionals within East Tennessee Quality Growth’s 16-county region and throughout the state and nation.

Community Involvement

ETQG encourages and facilitates individual citizen and stakeholder group involvement in community growth decision making.

Regional Project Facilitation

ETQG facilitates selected high-priority projects relating to significant issues upon which there is agreement among participating communities.
