Investing in Knoxville’s Revitalization Pays Off

According to one former resident and AP writer, Knoxville’s revitalization plan pays off.

Says AP writer Tom Eblen, “I hadn’t spent any time in Knoxville, Tenn., since 1988, when I moved away after living there for seven years. I went back recently, and I was impressed with downtown’s transformation.” The author sites improvements in parking, historic preservation and adaptive reuse, and creation of a Central Business Improvement District.
